Wine tasting master course at the Codorníu Wine Cellars - Full day excursion
Codorníu is the story of a wine-producing family that dates back to the 16th century. It is the story, therefore, of a region and its progress, of the people of an area, of their creative and innovative ability, and their talent for constant improvement.
The visit starts with a video explaining the concept of cava, information on the estate and a bit of history. After the video guests will wander along the gardens towards the Cava Museum, before visiting the actual cellars on small trains.
After the visit to the Cellars one of the ethnologist of Codorníu will give us a master class in wine and Cava tasting showing us the different wines, grapes, methods of production and of course teaching us how to smell, taste and enjoy the Cava.

Segway & walking tour Barcelona - Half day excursion
Segway & Walking tour BarcelonaThe tour starts at the door of the hotel at the heart of the Olympic Barcelona and at the beachfront. This particular tour will show you the city of Barcelona in two different ways of green transportation, walking and with Segways.
First we will use the Segways to discover the Olympic area of Barcelona, the beaches of the city and the old Fisherman’s quarter. After this nice ride we will leave the Segways and will continue discovering Barcelona. We will cross the small streets of the gothic quarter, a maze inside the walled roman city, which is still populated with palaces, churches, artists’ workshops and shops of all kinds. We will pass by the old harbour, the royal shipyards, and the statue of Columbus at the end of the Ramblas.

Departing from the hotel by bus a guide will give you an impression of Barcelona while visiting the most important sights of the city.
From Montjuic, the hill overlooking the city, one enjoys the best views of the city and also sees the Olympic Ring, where some of the most important 92 Olympic Games venues are located.
The tour will pass by the Old Port area and the Columbus Monument to get an overview of the seafront and the beach area by the marina.
The Gothic Quarter and cathedral, the city’s most elegant boulevard Paseo de Gracia with its outstanding Modernist buildings. The Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s most famous building and landmark.

The Temple de la Sagrada Família shows an integral concept of architecture, where plastics, shapes, nature, symbolism and colour constitute a unique and genuine mosaic.
The Casa Batlló is one of the Eixample District’s most charismatic buildings. The refurbishment of the previous building called for a new concept of ornamentation, which gave precedence to colour and light. The façade has decorative motifs of particular interest. The interior reveals Gaudí’s interest in the functional nature of handcrafted work.

Sitges tour with shopping - Full day excursion
Departing the hotel we will drive to Sitges around 45 minutes. Sitges is located on a hillside overlooking the rocky coastline, set between two beaches.
The picturesque town of Sitges, a small fishing village and quaint tourist resort in this region, featuring the Cau Ferrat Museum and the Maricel Palace, a real Jewell of Catalonian architecture.
Artists have always been attracted to and fascinated by Sitges. Late 19th century painters, painting in the open air, were drawn to Sitges because of its sea and its light, whilst the Catalan noucentistes found in its urban landscape a symbol of classicism and civilization.
The visit of this town is made on foot.
Sitges has its own micro climate with over 300 sunny days a year. The streets are safe. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafés to choose from. Friendly, lively atmosphere and most languages are spoken and you'll find the Catalonians are very friendly, open people.
Golf at Basia Beach Golf course - Half day excursion - 9 holes
GOLF.A course designed by José Mª Olazábal so that you can enjoy the best strokes of your life, with two different courses, one of 18 holes (par 72) and another of 9 holes (par 31).
NATURE. A unique environment, in the middle of nature, right under the Monserrat mountains.
SPORTS. The club provides best installations, with tennis and squash courts, gymnasium, open air and air-conditioned swimming pools.
SERVICE. A full professional team working just for you: golf courses, equipment rental, restaurant, meeting lounges. Rental of golf equipment is not included in the price, so please bring your own, otherwise you can rent it at the golf club.

Catamaran sailing trip - Full day excursion
This activity allows you to visit Barcelona from the seaside.
Departing from the Olympic port of Barcelona just in front of the hotel, we will sail in a Catamaran from Barcelona port to the north of the city to the port of Masnou.
During this 2.5 hours journey you will be able to enjoy the sun and the Mediterranean sea while you sun bath or enjoy a drink in the bar of our catamaran.
In the port of Masnou, we will have lunch facing the sea before returning to the catamaran to come back to the hotel.

Horse riding course and tour at natural park - Full day excursion
This activity is perfect for nature lovers, we will discover El Garraf Natural Park while we ride on horseback through the park.
The Garraf Natural Park is located just 30km south-west of Barcelona, but despite this proximity, it is remarkable how bleak and wild the landscape feels. A combination of limestone bedrock and human activities has created this classic Karst Mediterranean landscape with an absence of surface water.
For those who are not familiar with horseback riding there will be an introduction course.
A picnic lunch will be served in the middle of the route under the shadow of the pine trees.

Monserrat tour of the mountain monastery and the black Madonna - Full day excursion
This activity will take you to the Mountain of Monserrat, 45 minutes from Barcelona, and will allow you to visit one of the most emblematic sights for the people of Barcelona, the Madonna of Monserrat the city’s patron saint.
Passing by the region’s picturesque little villages we will arrive to the incomparable setting of Monserrat Mountain which stands 1,235 meters tall.
We will visit the Royal Basilica which houses the Moreneta Vierge, a Romanic sculpture from the 12th century.
